About Yair Golan
Major General (Res.) Yair Golan is a respected leader who dedicated his life to defending Israel for 38 years. As former Deputy Chief of Staff of the IDF, he brings unique experience in security and leadership to the democratic movement.
On October 7th, he traveled to the battlefield, and uniquely among all candidates running to lead Israel, saved lives of people fleeing the Nova festival.
Today, he leads the Democrats Party in the fight for peace, security, progressive values, social justice, and preserving Israel's democratic character.

Who Can Donate to Israeli Political Parties?
Under Israeli election law (Party Financing Law, 1973), the following individuals are eligible to donate:
- Age: Must be 18 years or older
- Citizenship: Must be an Israeli citizen
- Voting Rights: Must have the legal right to vote in Israeli elections
Donation Limits

Israeli Citizens Living Abroad
Israeli citizens living outside of Israel who maintain their citizenship and voting rights are eligible to donate to political parties in Israel, subject to the same limits as citizens residing in Israel.

Tax Information
